My apologies to all for not doing my blog last week. My excuse is Thanksgiving, but I am sure you do not want to hear it. Also, I could give the excuse that there were high school state championship football games to be prepared for, but that won't work.
I would certainly be remisss if I did not congratulate Ritter, Heritage Christian, Bellmont, Cathedral, and Center Grove on their respective state championship victories. Each game had its own level of drama, the crowds broke attendance records, and it was a spectacular weekend.
Girls basketball has been rolling along now for nearly a month, and boys basketball enters its second week for most schools.
Ben Davis, South Bend Washington, Hamilton Southeastern, Terre Haute South, and Mooresville occupy the top five spots in the girl's polls in 4A; Wawasee, Ft. Wayne Elmhurst, Vincennes Lincoln, Evansville Memorial, and Crawfordsville...
