Center Grove’s Sarah Higgens won the individual title and Carmel won the team title in the 28th annual IHSAA Girls Cross Country State Finals in Terre Haute on Saturday.

LAKE CENTRAL GIRLS RACE TO SECOND AT STATE
TERRE HAUTE -- Lake Central's girls cross country team finished second in the state for the second year in a row -- quite an accomplishment. The Indians compiled a team score of 160. Unfortunately, they ran in to a buzzsaw from Carmel.
