A three-year-old who nearly drowned while her Mom was allegedly watching "Americal Idol" is responding to doctors and her parents.

Sirius Brooks is reportedly suffering from pneumonia.

Twenty-five-year-old Sheila Brooks may face two counts of neglect for leaving Sirius and one-year-old Sereena in the bathtub alone last week.

Brooks' seven-year-old noticed her sisters in the bath alone and grabbed her Mom from a neighboring bedroom.

IMPD Lieutenant Jeff Duhamell says Brooks performed CPR on the girl before paramedics arrived.

Brooks had been in the bathroom with her daughters but left for a short time.

Duhamell says three of Brooks' five kids are with their father and a fourth is in protective custody.
