No Earthquake Damage Reported in Indianapolis

Mayor Greg Ballard says there's no damage in Indianapolis from Friday morning's earthquake.

Ballard says some sites that are inspected daily, such as Lucas Oil Stadium and crane sites, are undergoing more thorough inspections today. The city's emergency management team is also checking utility lines and high rise buildings.

The biggest concern is a gas leak. If you smell gas, call 911.

Police Chief Michael Spears says officers are looking for any damage on their beats. John Ball of Emergency Management urges homeowners to check for structural damage or cracks in foundations.

If your building needs repairs, Director of Public Safety Scott Newman says don't pay cash up front and verify your contractor is licensed and bonded by the state.
