The 2008 Gen Con Indy Gaming Convention is underway. It runs through Sunday at the Indiana Convention Center.
The gaming community from across the country comes together to experience over 6,000 gaming events, celebrity appearances, anime and more.
This year, Gen Con is celebrating its 41st year with an expanded Electronic Gaming Area and Family Fun Pavilian.
Gen Con began in Wisconsin and has been in Indy for five years.
Gen Con invites visitors to stare at the "jaw-dropping costumes" or better yet, they say, "wear one of your own."
