Cousins Sentenced For Double Murder

Two Indianapolis cousins were sentenced Friday to over one hundred years in prison for a June 2004 double murder.

Twenty-two year old Djuan Edwards and 24 year old Adrian Edwards were convicted of killing 33-year old Michael Moss and his 24-year old girlfriend April Adkisson.

Marion County prosecutors said the cousins killed the couple because they were going to testify in another murder case against Djuan.

Djuan was sentenced to 180 years, while Adrian was sentenced to 140 years.

The judge in the case ruled that Djuan's 180-year sentence will begin after he completes an 85-year sentence for a previous murder.
