A member of our WIBC family is taking some heat. Abdul Hakim-Shabazz ruffled some feathers this weekend after writing an article for the Indianapolis Star stating why Curtis Hill should keep his job… for now.
“I’ve never believed that anyone should lose their job over an allegation… There is enough inconsistency to warrant further investigation. Due to that, we need to take a step back and let’s get all the facts. If it comes back that he did do these things then we can talk about calling for his resignation.”
A lot of the complaints with Abdul were that he was only defending Curtis Hill because Abdul was friends with him.
“I’ve worked in politics for 15 years. I know all of these people. I have personal friendships with everybody. This is nothing new.”
