Delphi Murders: Report From Colorado on Potential Lead
There may be a potential lead in the Delphi murder case.
Daniel Nations was arrested in Colorado Springs on Monday after threatening several hikers with a hatchet. A man was murdered in that same area two weeks earlier.
Indiana State Police became involved with the case after it was revealed that Nations has Indiana connections and are investigating whether he may be a suspect in the Delphi murder case.
Shannon Brinias of News Channel 13 KRDO in Colorado joins the Hammer and Nigel Show to give further insight on Daniel Nations, his arrest and his possible connection to the Delphi murder case.
The first instance of Nation’s Indiana past was found on his car. Further investigation revealed something much more disturbing in his record.
“He had expired Indiana plates on his car…They found records showing that he was a registered sex offender in the state of Indiana.”
After a mug shot of Nations began circulating, numerous tips came in from Indiana comparing his mug shot with that of the composite sketch of the Delphi killer.
“We understand that there have been numerous tips that there is some sort of similarity, and it is pretty apparent, between the mug shot of Daniel Nations and the suspect of the Delphi murders.”
Nations is currently being held on the charge of illegal possession of a firearm. A hatchet and .22 caliber rifle was found in his car. He is scheduled to appear in Colorado court this afternoon.
