ESPN Removes Broadcaster Because Of His Name

ESPN removed a play by play guy from their online broadcast of the Virginia vs William and Mary game because the game was in Virginia and the announcer’s name was Robert Lee!

The company felt that someone kind of sharing a name with a formal confederate general would be too much for the audience to handle. By the way, Robert Lee is Asian (Not exactly a striking resemblance to a confederate general)

Lee is the most common last name in THE WORLD. Robert is a fairly common name too. Plus, and this is probably the most important fact here… he’s NOT ROBERT E. LEE! They are in fact, two different people from two completely different time periods.

Mixing social justice, history and a lot of stupidity, here’s an all-new segment called “CIVIL WAR HISTORY….ACCORDING TO ESPN”
