Ted Cruz Supports Both A Flat Tax And A Fair Tax
Presidential candidate and Texas Senator Ted Cruz made a trip down radio row at Defending the Dream Summit in Columbus, Ohio last weekend. Senator Cruz took time to speak with Tony Katz, host of Tony Katz and the Morning news on 93 WIBC, and discussed potential ways he'd reform the tax code if elected president. Cruz offered a two part system. First, start with a simple flat tax, the kind that would allow Americans to do their taxes on a post card. Second, institute a fair tax.
Senator Cruz said the IRS would ultimately be disbanded, an idea that's been championed by many conservatives for some time.
