Pro-Palestinian Protester Calls Emmis CEO Jeff Smulyan a "Nazi"

Claims anyone who supports Israel is a Nazi, calls Smulyan out by name

On July 31st, I covered a pro-Palestinian rally which took place on the capitol steps in downtown Indianapolis.

One protester, who held a sign that equated a swastika to a Star of David, saw my WIBC press pass and said, "Oh. Jeff Smulyan." Smulyan is the CEO of Emmis Communications, which owns 93.1FM WIBC.

The protester went on to say that Jews should get out of Palestine and, "go back where they came from." He called out Smulyan by name, and stated that any Jew or any person that supports Israel is a Nazi.

I asked him for his name, but he refused to give it, only saying, "a lot of people know who I am."
