IU Fans: Fire Crean! Wait Don't Fire Crean!

Hoosier Basketball Fans Are Manic When Deciding What’s Best For I.U.

I.U. basketball fans are certifiably insane.  The Hoosier faithful were calling for the head of former men’s basketball coach Tom Crean, at least until Crean was fired Thursday after nine seasons  in Bloomington.  Now Hoosier fans are kind of looking around and saying, ‘what did we do?’

WIBC Morning Host Tony Katz provided the following reenactment of the typical I.U. fan before and after Crean’s firing.  You can hear the entire thing in the audio below:

BEFORE CREAN WAS FIRED

1 - Crean sucks!

2 - He is so awful!

1 - So sucks!

2 - The NIT? Really? That's it? The NIT?

1 - He sucks!

2 - Oh, look at me! I'm Tom Crean. I won two Big 10 championships.

1 - Big 10 championships suck!

2 - Who cares? Dance! Titles! Banners! That's what we want!

1 - He sucks!

2 - Get rid of him already! Anyone would be a better coach than Crean!

1 - Suuuuuucks.

AFTER TOM CREAN WAS FIRED

1 - Why would you fire Tom Crean?

2 - IU sucks!

1 - The guy single handedly saved the basketball program.

2 - They suck!

1 - He's a proven winner. Just a bad season with a team that refused to listen.

2 - IU totally sucks!

1 - He won two Big 10 championships! Two!

2 - IU sucks twice. They suck suck!

1 - Who are gonna hire that's better than Crean? Huh? Who?

2 - IU sucks!
