What is it about Star Wars that brings out the worst in people?

That was the question on WIBC host Tony Katz's mind Monday, after seeing social media's response in the wake of last weekend's premiere of 'The Last Jedi', the latest in the Star Wars anthology.

Star Wars in conjunction with social people has brought out the worst in people. People who are into Star Wars are awful.

I'm sorry, I don't want to be rude, but the people who are yelling and screaming about how 'The Last Jedi' doesn't follow this plot or that plot, they didn't follow this story arc, you are worse than people who ride in bicycle lanes. You are the worst people in the world.

And I don't think this is true of them normally. Like in their everyday life? I think they're fine. But then they get around Star Wars, and all of a sudden they're nitpicking to death, they're angry about everything, and they're putting out spoilers on social media.

If you put out a spoiler on social media, you deserve whatever bad thing happens to you. You should get a rash on the inside; you deserve it.

...You're all so angry and bitter instead of just saying, 'Wow, this is really cool. Wow, this is the loudest movie I've ever seen in my entire life.'
