Democrats Plan for Midterms? Raise Taxes!

Midterm elections are approaching rapidly, and Democrats are feeling the pinch in the wake of the GOP's successful passage of historic tax reform, a booming economy, and a President's approval rating that at times has reached 50%.
What's a poor Democrat to do to secure the support of voters? Tout plans to raise taxes, apparently.
WIBC host Tony Katz explained Thursday:
Democrats are pushing a bill that they say is a different way to look at taxes. What's their plan? Their plan is to - after seeing the success of the tax cuts that none of them voted for - raise taxes.
They can't stop from being idealogical creatures who pay no attention to the reality in front of their face. They cannot stop this idea that good comes from government, and government has to be the one to provide the good.
