The U.S. House of Representatives voted 216-212 to approve the fiscal year 2018 budget resolution, which provides the framework for consideration of the GOP tax reform proposal.

20 Republicans voted against it, along with every Democrat in the House.

Indiana Congressman Jim Banks called WIBC host Tony Katz to discuss passage of the budget and the GOP's push for tax reform, including criticism of the bill's elimination of the state and local tax deduction, which would disproportionately affect residents in states such as California and New York.
