Saturday Night Live Goes After Democrats for a Change

Paints Left as Out of Touch, Elderly Losers

The impossible has happened. A miracle has occurred. Saturday Night Live intentionally and with malice of forethought lampooned Democrats in a political commercial parody that aired this week.

“We’re back, baby!” Cecily Strong’s Dianne Feinstein declared in the ad, which also included such elderly party members as congressional leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, and “team player” Donna Brazile.

Check out the parody for yourself:

WIBC host Tony Katz said the parody indirectly sends the message that 'yes', the Republican party isn't alone in having problems.

Katz:

The Democratic party constantly overplays its' hand. Yes, they won two governor's races in two states that were already left-leaning. That isn't the kind of thing where you say, 'Top of the world, Ma.'

...I won't deny that it's a victory. The idea that it resets the table? No. The only thing that it does is cause guys like Joe Donnelly, Senator of Indiana, to question how to proceed. Do they want to proceed as the moderate or do they feel that this win can move him to the left?
