What it Takes to Bring Amazon to Indiana

Indiana is in the running to be chosen as online behemoth Amazon.com Inc.'s new headquarters.
The multibillion dollar investment would bring over 50,000 jobs to the Hoosier state, and a number of cities in Indiana have submitted proposals in hopes of landing the retail giant, including Gary, Jeffersonville, Fishers, and Muncie.
Amazon is expected to make a decision next year, but it's unclear how or exactly when.
WIBC host Tony Katz said he would welcome the distinction of Indianapolis or another city in the state securing the commitment of Amazon to build their second headquarters in the Hoosier state, provided it's on Indiana's terms.
Here is my approach. Here is exactly what I would say to Amazon on this subject. You want us to change our name? The answer is no, we're Indianapolis. You want us to change our culture? The answer is no, we have an absolutely fantastic culture. You want us to change who we are, bend over backward and plead to get Amazon to central Indiana? The answer is no.
You don't come here because we beg you; you come here because it's better for your people.
