Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump campaign official Rick Gates surrendered Monday to Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller.

The charges against Manafort and Gates are unrelated to the Trump campaign.

The 31-page, 12-count indictment against Paul Manafort and Richard Gates focuses on their years as political consultants and lobbyists working with Ukraine.

WIBC host Tony Katz spoke with WIBC Legal Correspondent Greg Garrison Tuesday, who provided additional insight into the charges.
