The "South Split" Is Not Just Biological
Have you ever driven down a closed road in Indianapolis? Don’t start - you could hurt someone. The sophisticated and ultra-educated Matt Bair, voice of the WIBC Traffic Center, is showing you when and where you can’t drive this weekend. Not helpful? WRONG! You didn’t put ten years into getting an undergrad, so there.
West Monument Circle into Market is shutdown for the Salesforce Tower Celebration from now until 10:30 Saturday night. Good times are warranted because Salesforce added seven floors to the tower, built a casino, and never threw Indianapolis under the bus for another dumb thing the Statehouse did. Thank you, Salesforce, let’s party.

RAINBOW 5K RUN/WALK
Saturday from 8:30am - 11:30am.
I made another fancy map for road closures:
BROAD RIPPLE ART FAIR
Saturday 10am - Sunday 5pm
Don’t commute through College at Broad Ripple Ave, unless you brought lawn chairs, a portable grill, and have a baby sitter that can stay late.
CYSTIC FYBROSIS FOUNDATION GREAT STRIDES WALK
Saturday 2pm - 6pm
How cool, and a terrific spot in the city. Check the map for closures:
There’s also the Indians, Fever, and Indy 11 (IUPUI), and sources say something is happening in Speedway this weekend, but I won’t eloborate until it's confirmed. I mean, fake news and all.
More to come, and thank you to everyone who helped out on the roads this week. Hit me up at (317) 684-8134 or @WIBCTraffic, or on Tinder, Match, or Craiglist (every pic comes with a free end table).
Until then, be well, drive safe, and make good decisions.
