Friday, June 16
8 AM|Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Hundreds of the world’s finest and most historic racecars will compete all weekend on the IMS Road course with exhibition events on the 2.5 mile oval! The “Indy Legends Charity Vintage Pro Am” is on Saturday at 1:20, which include four-time Indy 500 winner Al Unser and his son, two-time “500” winner, Al Unser Jr., lead the list of competitors.
5:30 PM|Indianapolis Zoo
Friday evenings are so much fun at the Zoo, with great food and live music under the new Bicentennial Pavilion. Concerts ARE included with Zoo admission, so you can visit the animals all day, and dance all night! Tonight's band is "My Yellow Rickshaw" and Beer Can Chicken is "what's" for dinner!
8 PM|Conner Prairie Amphitheater
The ISO opens their 36th Season with what is said to be the world’s most beloved classics, “Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5”. One of our favorite summer activities under the stars! Buy a table, or bring your blanket for the lawn. Concessions are available, but bringing your own picnic is just fine! Friday and Saturday!
Saturday, June 17
7 AM|Church Brothers Collision Repair
One site registration from 7 to 11am. More than 250 vehicles already registered! Mascots, music, and food from Judge's Tip of the Rib BBQ and a bacon station! The Dudley Foundation is the permanent beneficiary of the Annual Church Brothers Collision Repair Car Show.
8 AM|Indiana State Fairgrounds
You wear white…and you run through foam! It’s that simple, and so much fun! Wear white and run, walk, dance and play across 3.1 miles of bubbles. Waves start every 3-5 minutes, then at each kilometer…you’ll run thru the “Bubble Bogs” where you’ll be covered in colorful foam from head to toe!
10 AM|Talbot Street
Over 270 Artist from around the country converge on Talbot Street both Saturday and Sunday to sell their wares. Ranked as one of the best Art Fairs in the nation! As always, FREE admission!
2 PM|The Phoenix Theatre
An outdoor block party in the 700 block of North Park Avenue between Mass Avenue and East St. Clair Street in downtown Indianapolis’ historic Chatham Arch neighborhood. Brew-Ha-Ha, is Indy’s original craft beer festival benefiting the Phoenix Theatre, featuring the best craft brewers in the area, and live entertainment all afternoon!
3 PM|Broad Ripple Village
A little something for everyone, celebrating all the great things about Broad Ripple. From 3-5pm, be sure to experience the Chef’s Night Off Duck Cook Off Tent, featuring the area’s best chef’s competing to create the best “duck dish”! Lots to eat, drink and 4 live bands. $7 at the gate. Free for kids 10 and under.
5:30 PM|Ft. Harrison State Park
The largest evening event of its kind in the nation, supporting melanoma research and education. The evening includes a 5 mile timed run and a 5K non-competitive run. Afterwards, enjoy live music, food and drink at the Sunset Festival. Register HERE.
