The last weekend for Indy Fringe, which has become Indy’s premier Arts and Entertainment event. Artists come from all over the country to perform. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll find it! Comedy, parodies, personal stories…magic and more. Memorable and sometimes outrageous. Check out the website for info.
4pm|Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel
Three days of celebrating with authentic food and pastries…cooking demos, dancing and live entertainment. Lots of kids activities too! Greekfest has become one of the very best festivals of the year! And the food?...I can’t pronounce a lot of it, but it’s all good!!
Devour Indy is back and this weekend would be a great time to check out one of the 200 participating restaurants. Through Sept. enjoy a 2 course meal at a discounted price! Just ask your server for the “Devour Indy Menu”. Be sure to check which restaurants require a reservation before you head out the door!
8pm|Conner Prairie Amphitheater
Kroger Symphony on the Prairie brings this one back by popular demand. The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band will perform all of your favorites. The show is the longest running Michael Jackson Tribute Band, and gets outstanding reviews from fans all over the world! FRIDAY & SATURDAY – 8pm both nights.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 26
8am|Lucas Oil Stadium
This one starts “outside” of Lucas Oil Stadium and ends “inside” of Lucas Oil Stadium on the 50 yard line. The kids have their own event…the “PLAY 60 Fun Run”. A portion of the proceeds benefit pediatric neurosurgery research.

9am|Forest Park in Noblesville
We visit a lot of car shows, and this one is big! 175+ cars expected to participate. You’ll see vintage bikes too. Food, and good music. Forest Park is beautiful! $10 registration fee, with proceeds benefiting the Noblesville Masonic Angel Fund. If you don’t know who “Lucky Teter” was, check out the website…very interesting!
10am|Sullivan Hardware and Garden
If you’ve never had food cooked on a “Big Green Egg”, this is your chance! More than 75 booths of Big Green Egg enthusiasts grilling their favorite things for you to try. Plus, grilling classes, Live entertainment and local craft beer on site. $20 at the door.
Noon|Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds in Noblesville
This is such a fun event for Disney fans of all ages. You’ll meet the biggest fanatics from around the country, as well as Princesses, and characters from a galaxy far, far away. No admission, but bring a covered dish to add to the pitch-in buffet.
Noon|Carmel Arts and Design District
Pretty spectacular if you’re a car enthusiast! More than 400 classic cars and race cars, across more than 26 classes, will be on display in downtown Carmel. Free to take a look. Prepare for a crowd. More than 15,000 are expected! Goes until 5pm.
Thousands of motorcycles and fans fill Monument Circle Saturday night from Monument Circle to Georgia Street! Always room for more, so motorcyclists…come on down! Free for Riders and Spectators. Goes until midnight.
4pm|Spades Park in Indy
Presented by John Boner Neighborhood Centers, the Feast of Lanterns tradition goes back to the early 1900’s, with beautiful colored lanterns being lit at dusk. Over 50 Artists, your favorite food trucks, beer and cider, plus live entertainment.
6pm|Klipsh Music Center
A night of comedy and music, with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy…the Marshall Tucker Band, Foghat and Eddie Money.
7pm & 9pm|Crackers Comedy Club
Hosted by comedian Scott Long and trying his hand at standup comedy…our own Jason Hammer, and Pete The Planner! Also performing, Former Pacer Scott Pollard, Chef Neal Brown, 1070theFan’s Greg Rakestraw, HankFM’s Dave O’Brien…Leonard Hoops from Visit Indy and more! Raising money for Best Buddies Indiana. SUNDAY, AUGUST 27
3pm|Theatre on the Square
Taylor Martin’s 13th Indy Fringe Show. Family Friendly and each performance will have 3 or 4 of the top local and national magicians with Taylor Martin as your host.
Last Home Game of the season and to say “thank you”, The Indians declare Sunday as “Fan Appreciation Day”! Lots of giveaways, including TV’s, headphones, Tribe gear and more. Plus…it’s Kids Eat Free Day! Hot dogs, chips and bottled water with the price of admission. Fun evening at Victory Field!
