CIRCLE UP!  BOILER TAILGATE

Noon|Monument Circle

Purdue Pete and the Boilermaker Special will be on Monument Circle for a huge Pep Rally before they take on the Louisville Cardinals at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.  Plenty of food, and 2 beer gardens will be available before Coach Brohm, and President Mitch Daniels take the stage at 1:45 when the team arrives. 

 

 

“COLUMBUS” – Indianapolis Premiere

This Independent film was written about Columbus Indiana, and also filmed in Columbus, with it’s beautiful architecture as the backdrop.  It’s already won several awards and premieres in Indy and in Columbus today only!  SHOWTIMES:  1:15pm, 4:10pm, 6:55pm and 9:45pm.

 

 

CHOCOLATE TRAIL 2017

5pm|Main Street in Noblesville

Similar to a treasure hunt…you pick up a map on the courthouse grounds, then follow the path to shops and restaurants, where you just might win a prize!   Prizes awarded at 9pm.

Last weekend to enjoy discounted 3 course specials at any of the 200 restaurants listed.  Just ask your server for the Devour Indy Menu!  Remember, some restaurants require reservations.

 

 

PURPLE VEINS:  THE ESSENTIAL PRINCE TRIBUTE

8pm|Conner Prairie Amphitheatre

Last weekend for Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.   The dance floor will be set up so you can “Party like it’s 1999” with the legendary Prince Tribute Band, “Purple Veins”.

 

 

 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

 

2nd ANNUAL WHITE RIVER CANOE FLOAT

8am-1pm|Boat Ramp Indianapolis Arts Center

Hosted by Golden Sunrise Sertoma.   Raising money for the Jameson Camp and the E. 10th St. UMC Children & Youth Center.   Canoe either 3 or 7 miles.

 

 

2017 MAYOR’S INTERNATIONAL FUTSAL CUP

8am|Circle City Industrial Complex

An Adult Futsal Tournament, featuring over 40 teams, representing 32 different countries and is one of the largest futsal tournaments in the US.  Goes through Labor Day.  Free Admission. 

 

 

INDY LABOR FEST 2017

11am|Georgia Street

Presented by the Greater Marion County UAW CAP Council. Bring the family and join the fun on Georgia Street!  Food, Live Bands, Beer Garden, Zipline, prizes and more!  Free Parking at UAW Local 933, (2320 S. Tibbs)  with pickup starting at 10:30am. 

 

 

BOB SEGER & THE SILVER BULLET BAND

A veteran rocker who’s music brings back lots of memories.  The night includes a performance by Grand Funk Railroad.

 

 

ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH COMMUNITY FALL FESTIVAL

Homemade Lasagna is the specialty, but there is a lot of variety at the Fall Festival! Saturday and Sunday.  Stuff for the kids and adults.  Black Jack, Poker and a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Sunday evening.  Sundays festivities begin at 3pm.

 

 

ZOSO:  THE MUSIC OF LED ZEPPELIN

Saturday and Sunday…last 2 nights of the 2017 Kroger Symphony of the Prairie season. Touring for over 20 years, and performing more than 2,400 shows around the world…This “Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience” makes its Conner Prairie debut to close out the season.  Fireworks both nights!

21st ANNUAL LABOR DAY STREET FAIR

2:30pm|Jazz Kitchen

Fantastic entertainment all afternoon, starting with Clifford Ratliff & Friends and ending with Rob Dixon starting at 6:30.  Food available from Yats & The Jazz Kitchen!
