INDY WOMEN IN TECH LPGA CHAMPIONSHIP

8am|Brickyard Crossing Golf Course

A NEW Tournament presented by Guggenheim.  Featuring a full field of 144 players competing for a $2million purse.  Today is Round 2 of the three day tournament.   FINAL Round on Saturday.

 

ALL AMERICAN HORSE CLASSIC

8am|Indiana State Fairgrounds West Pavilion

It’s called “The Greatest Horse Show Ever Seen In Indianapolis!”  It has a reputation for excellence, and has become home to the American Saddlebred National Sweepstakes, the second and richest 
jewel in the Triple Crown of horse shows.  Goes thru Saturday.  FREE!

 

UWCI “THE BIG KICKOFF” With THE COLTS!

11am|Monument Circle

Big 100th birthday celebration for the United Way of Central Indiana with entertainment, and food trucks.  The Colts Alumni Players will be on hand for pictures and autographs.  First 1,000 people will receive Free Colts Flags at the United Way tent.

 

5th ANNUAL COLTS KICKOFF CONCERT

4:30pm|Georgia Street

Frankie Ballard is the headliner, with opening acts Clayton Anderson and Corey Co!  The Colts bring fans a FREE show with performances and autographs from the Colts Cheerleaders.  Bud Light specials and food provided by Kilroys!

 

KIDZ BOP

7pm|Old National Centre

51st ANNUAL PENROD ARTS FAIR

9am|Indianapolis Museum of Art

“Indiana’s Nicest Day” with over 300 artists, 75 arts-related nonprofits and 6 stages of entertainment!  Plenty of food options and an Indiana craft beer garden.  The Art Fair goes on rain or shine.  Presale tickets are $15.  Day of show, $20. 

 

“BREATHE & BREW”

9:30am|Dallara IndyCar Factory

A very interesting fundraiser for the American Lung Association!  60 minutes of yoga, and beer tasting at a great venue!  Fun for everyone, even if you’re new to Yoga…just bring your own mat or sign up for VIP and they’ll take care of it.

 

ST. JOAN OF ARK FRENCH MARKET

Noon|St. Joan of Arc

One of my favorite festivals!  Because of the food!  Ratatouille with Bread & Basil Butter…Seafood Bisque…Boeuf Bourguignon with Pasta, BBQ Ribs, Crawfish Etouffee with rice!!  Beignets…Cream Puffs!  Chocolate Eclairs!!  This is a good one! Goes until 10pm.

 

5th ANNUAL SUN KING “CANvitational”

1pm|Georgia Street

The largest canned craft beer festival in the Midwest, brings over 65 breweries from across the country…for your sampling pleasure!  Plenty of good food available and live entertainment.

 

OKTOBERFEST 2017

4pm|German American Klub of Indianapolis

Enjoy dancing, music, and food!  Get your fill of Bavarian Pretzels, Brats, Knackwurst, and Frickadellen!  Inflatables, and carnival rides for the kids.  $5, kids 12 and under are free!  Henry Lee Summer and Tastes Like Chicken included in the musical lineup.

Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show with Special Guests, Anderson East and Lucie Silvas.

CABOOSE RIDES

10am & 4pm|Indiana Transportation Museum

Wildly popular among all ages.  No reservations required.  Last ticket sold at 4pm.  $10 ages 2 and up.

 

3rd ANNUAL GRAPE STOMP

Noon|Daniel’s Vinyard

A lot of people excited about the “Grape Stomp”!  Bring the family for a day of fun with live music, food trucks and a lot of grapes that need stomped!  It’s free to stomp, but ticketed time slots will be given upon arrival.  Space is limited so be sure to get there early!

 

U2 IN CONCERT

7pm|Lucas Oil Stadium

Part of the Joshua Tree Tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s classic fifth album.  Beck will be opening up for the band.
