36th ANNUAL O’REILLY AUTO PARTS FALL 4-WHEEL OFF ROAD JAMBOREE

10am|Indiana State Fairgrounds

America’s Largest 4x4 series…Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  NMRO Mud Drags, Monster Truck Rides, RC Dirt Track Racing, Burnout Contests, and Monster Truck Thunder Drags.  Plus Lots of giveaways and a performance marketplace.

 

 

7th ANNUAL MONUMENT CIRCLE OKTOBERFEST

4pm|Monument Circle

Presented by the Columbia Club, you’ll find fantastic German food, a biergarten, wines, live music from Polka Boy and even a cigar bar!  FREE Admission…goes until 11pm.

 

 

22nd ANNUAL INDY IRISH FEST

4:30|Military Park

Day 2 of a 4-day celebration of Indiana’s Irish heritage!  Traditional Irish food and drink, 5 stages with live entertainment.  Celtic cooking demonstrations all weekend.  Today, save on admission with the festival’s “Early Bird” $7 special from 4:30-5:30pm.  Wait until Sunday and a donation of 5 canned goods per person, (benefiting St. Vincent DePaul food bank) will get you in the door between 10:30 & 11:30am.

 

 

ST. LAWRENCE PARISH FESTIVAL

5pm|St. Lawrence Parish

This one is a three day festival with good food…live music and a midway for the kids!  Bingo and a beer garden!  Saturday, 1pm to 11pm and Sunday, 1pm to 6pm.

 

 

INDIANAPOLIS WINE FESTIVAL

5pm|Pan Am Plaza

Have a taste from a selection of over 200 wines from all over the world!  Plus live music, cooking demonstrations and seminars.  With wine, you’ve gotta have food and some of the city’s best restaurants will have their signature dishes on hand for purchase. Friday and Saturday, rain or shine!  Tickets start at $30.

 

 

LUKE BRYAN IN CONCERT

7pm|Klipsch Music Center

Part of the “Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin” Tour, with special guests Brett Eldredge and Granger Smith.

 

 

SATURDAY, SEPT. 16th

 

BEECH GROVE FALL FESTIVAL

8am|Main Street

This year’s Theme…”Our Favorite Superheroes”, presented by The Beech Grove Promoters Club.  Today is the last and biggest day of festival!  The parade starts at noon.  Be sure to check out the Craft Fair at the east end of the festival. 

 

 

INDY JAZZ FEST

8am|Various Locations throughout Indy

Goes through the 23rd, celebrating the legacy of jazz, todays stars and new “up and comers”!  Check the website for a list of shows and venues.

 

FESTIVAL OF MACHINES

10am|Conner Prairie

Saturday and Sunday celebrate Indiana’s rich history of transportation!   Vintage Cars, aircraft, military vehicles, helicopters, steam engines and more.  Lots of activities for the whole family and included with the price of admission.

 

 

4th ANNUAL GATEWAY SERVICES “FALL FASHION SHOW

10:15am|Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Greenwood

Join Gateway Services and those they serve for an afternoon of food, fashion and fun!  Gateway Services helps those with and without disabilities because they believe everyone deserves to work, learn, live, and serve their community.  Brunch starts at 11am – Tickets are $40.

 

 

ST. GEORGE FESTIVAL

1pm|St. George Orthodox Christian Church in Fishers

Saturday and Sunday!  Middle Eastern food, live music and dancing!  The grape leaves, baked kibbe, and homemade pastries are what bring me back year after year!  Free admission, $5 to park)

 

 

 

SUNDAY, SEPT. 17th

 

HISPANIC HERITAGE FIESTA

Noon|Indianapolis Zoo

Presented by Indiana Donor Network, the Zoo will be transformed into a “street fair”, and even the Zoo’s animals will be a part of the celebration!   Traditional music, and specialty food stations with options like tamales, tacos, churros and more.  Hispanic Heritage Fiesta is included with regular Zoo admission and free for Zoo members.

 

 

ARIZONA CARDINALS v. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

1pm|Lucas Oil Stadium

Join 93 WIBC on Georgia Street for the Bud Light Tailgate.  Hammer and Nigel will be broadcasting live beginning at 10am.  Stop by on your way to the game for Bud Light specials, live entertainment and good food!

 

2nd ANNUAL 500 FESTIVAL “MINI-MINI

1:30pm|Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Designed specifically for kids!  Five different race distances offered, ranging from half a mile to 2.5 miles and open to kids ages 5-12.  It’s the only youth run that takes place at the famed oval!  There will be entertainment along the course, massive cheering sections and mini-mini medals at the end of the race.  Sign up today before it’s too late!
