If you’d like to help some of the most vulnerable Texas residents affected by Hurricane Harvey, please bring your donations of dry pet food, canned food, litter, toys, leashes and gift cards to pet stores, to The Barrington before September 30th. Both cats and dogs need our help during this difficult time.

One of the country’s top parades with over 100,000 spectators! Five time NBA Champion Ron Harper has been named this year’s Grand Marshall.
10am|White River State Park
Great opportunity to raise money for a cure, bringing hope to people with ALS. Just a 2 mile walk along the downtown White River Canal. The walk is the ALS Association’s biggest fundraiser. Walk Check in begins at 10am and the walk begins at noon.
10am|Grand Park Even Center
Saturday & Sunday! Connect with local businesses to talk about your landscaping, and home improvement needs. Fall is the perfect time for planting and preparing your home for winter. Sample local food and wine and shop from Hoosier Artists. $8 at the gate.
Pan for gold, see a blacksmithing demonstration, or compete in a stickhorse rodeo, as the west comes alive at the Eiteljorg! There will also be some good “chuckwagon grub” available!

A sampling of Oktoberfest selections served in avcommemorative Indy Eleven “Mini-Stein”…which leads to a “stein-holding” contest! Plus everybody’s favorite Wiener Dog Parade! Celebrate with the Indy Eleven before they face Puerto Rico FC at 7:30. $35 at the gate.
7pm|Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
Sun King, Bier Brewery, Ash & Elm, Black Acre, Fountain Square, St. Joseph and Metazoa will be at this year’s Irvington Brewfest! Sunday, September 24th
9am|Fort Harrison State Park
All proceeds from the event support “Free to Breathe”, a lung cancer research and advocacy organization dedicated to increasing lunch cancer survival. You can participate in the timed run, fun run or walk and also lots of activities for the kids, including the “Tot Trot” starting at 10:25am. $30 for adults or $35 at the gate on the day of the event.
