5th ANNUAL “BOO BASH” HALLOWEEN VILLAGE

6:30pm|Nickel Plate District Amphitheater in Fishers

FREE!  Plus, Free hot chocolate and Pat’s Philly Pretzels for the first 1,000.  More than 50 vendor booths, games, music, and costume contest!  Parental supervision required!  Goes till 8:30pm.

 

 

“FRIGHTFUL:  SILENT HALLOWEEN 2017” Movie Night

6:45pm|Indiana Landmarks Center Grand Hall

This would be a fun date night!  Watch a creepy old horror film, while Award Winning theater Organist Mark Herman provides live accompaniment.  Sammy Terry will be your host for the evening!  Cash prizes for those of you that want to dress as a Vampire.  Cash Bar opens at 6:45.  The Film starts at 7:30pm.

 

 

3rd ANNUAL ZOMBIE FUN RUN

7pm|Downtown Speedway

This “timed 5K” is in the dark, so bring your flashlight!  The trails are rough and there is one steep downward hill and don’t forget…Zombies are waiting in the shadows!  Ages 16+. $35.  Sign up to be a Zombie and they’ll help you with makeup for a small donation.  You may also bring your own props. 16+  $10-$20.

 

 

ZOMBIE BIKE RIDE

7pm|Irvington Branch Library

FREE for all ages!  The Historic Irvington Halloween Festival and Indy Cycle Specialists, invite you to put on your best Zombie wear, gather your friends and family and ride your bikes to the Irvington Branch Library for the Annual Zombie Bike Ride!    The ride concludes at Irving Circle.  All riders must have a bicycle light. 

 

 

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM & CHRISTINE McVIE in CONCERT

7:30pm|Old National Centre

Working together as a duo for the first time after 40 years on and off with Fleetwood Mac.  Reviews of the Tour are fantastic!  You’ll hear familiar Fleetwood Mac songs, as well as some new stuff from their new album.

 

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 28th

 

UINDY HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL CHORAL FESTIVAL

8am|UINDY – RUTH LILLY PERFORMANCE HALL

More than 350 High School Students will have the chance to explore the campus, as well as to perform for an audience of other choirs, parents and friends in the acoustical environment of the Ruth Lilly Performance Hall.  FREE to attend.

 

 

PLEASANT RUN VAMPIRE RUN

8:45am|Irvington United Methodist Church

8:45 – 5 Mile Run * 9am – 3 Mile Walk * 9:05am – Little Bat Dash.  Vampire attire encouraged!  Parking for the run is available at “Our Lady of Lourdes”.  Proceeds benefit the Irvington Legacy Project.  Register NOW!

 

 

IRVINGTON HALLOWEEN STREET FAIR

10am|Washington Street

One of the area’s best “Street Fairs” with FREE live entertainment, contests, food, beer garden, over 200 vendors, and a not-to-miss Halloween Parade!  Pumpkin carving starts at 10am, the Costume Contest is from 2 to 4pm, followed by the parade.

 

 

2017 GENEALOGY & LOCAL HISTORY FAIR

10am|Indiana State Library

FREE admission.   Over 30 organizations in attendance.  Visit the tables in the exhibition hall to collect info from genealogical and local history organizations and be sure to see what the commercial vendors have to offer.  Internationally known genealogy consultants will be on hand to answer questions.

 

DOG DAZE AT THE MAZE!

Noon|Beasley’s Orchard in Danville

SATURDAY & SUNDAY!   Bring your best four-legged friend to Beasley’s for the last weekend of the corn maze!  Local animal shelters will be on site with dogs available for adoption.  Enter your dog in the pet costume contest, talent contest and more!  50% of the proceeds will benefit Hendricks County Animal Rescue Groups.

 

 

GREENWOOD BEER & CHILI FESTIVAL

Noon|Tried and True Alehouse

Raising money for the Noah Kriese Foundation.  Local Breweries and restaurants participating.  $15 in advance.  $20 at the door.  Goes until 4pm.  

 

 

HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT AT CASTLETON SQUARE MALL

1pm|Center Court/Castleton Square Mall

FREE ADMISSION!  Come in Costume and celebrate Halloween with Disney’s VAMPIRINA!  Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Crafts and more!  Goes until 3pm.

 

 

BROAD RIPPLE BEER FEST

2pm|Opti-Park

Brewers of Indiana Guild fundraiser with 45 Hoosier Breweries, including 10 small bath fall themed specialty beers with unique ingredients like Halloween Candy!  Your $50 ticket includes as many 3oz. pours as you can responsibly drink. 

 

HAUNTED HUSTLE 5K

5pm|Jordan YMCA

Dress in your favorite costume and run through a haunted course!  Proceeds help cancer survivors in recovery through LIVESTRONG at the YMCA.  Awards for best costumes, and food provided at the end of the race!    Register HERE!

 

 

TERROR ON THE TRAIN!

7pm|Indiana Transportation Museum

There’s nothing like this “haunted” event anywhere in Central Indiana!  Be ready for creepy, bone-chilling scenes as you travel the “haunted rail yard”!   SATURDAY & SUNDAY!  Purchase tickets at www.itm.org or at the door.

BEER GARDEN CLOSING CELEBRATION

Noon|Indianapolis Museum of Art

Time to say “Goodbye” to the Beer Garden for the season.  Bring your friends and raise one more glass before the doors close!  Included with General Admission.

 

 

GGCB HALLOWEEN CONCERT

2pm|Greenwood High School Auditorium

Enjoy spooky music perfect for the whole family!  Plus, this year’s concert will feature a haunted hallway, free grab bags, and you get judge the band’s costume contest!  You’re invited to wear your costume too, and stay after the show for their graveyard bash with plenty of snacks.  Admission is FREE, but a donation of canned goods for the Salvation Army food pantry is appreciated!

 

 

HOWL-O-WEEN PUP CRAWL

2pm|Indiana City Brewing Company

It’s about the dogs!  Dress your pup up in their favorite costume and join “BarkHappy” for a fun afternoon benefiting “Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue”!   Dog games, drink specials and everybody receives giveaways and goodies valued at over $250!  Early Bird Tix are $15.
