Both indoor and outdoor festivities through Sunday!  Come see the canopy of lights, live animal Nativity, the alpine slide, German foods & beer.  Dress warm for the caroling and luminary walk!  FREE admission.  Sat 11-9pm, Sun 11-3pm.

 

 

“CONNER PRAIRIE BY CANDLELIGHT”

6pm|Conner Prairie

A 90 minute walking tour that takes you back in time to 1836 Prairietown, where it’s the night before Christmas!  Family friendly and reservations also available on Dec. 16th, 22-23.  Tours every 12 minutes.  $12-$16.

 

 

“LIGHTS AT THE BRICKYARD”

6pm|Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Celebrate the season at the IMS with a longer route this year!  2 ½ Million Lights illuminate the expanded lineup of beautiful holiday displays.  Different Ticket Options - $25-$50.  Goes to Dec. 30th.  CLICK HERE to win tickets!

 

STAR WARS:  THE LAST JEDI

7pm|IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum

The IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum is one of only a dozen theater’s chosen globally to off the full IMAX Experience.  The downtown IMAX is providing 76 hours of back to back screenings.  Lots of special activities on opening night!  Scattered seats still available throughout the weekend.

 

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

7pm|Civic Theater in Carmel

Opening night of the musical about Joseph, his father Jacob…his eleven brothers and a coat of many colors!   You’ll love it!  Goes through January 6th.

 

 

A CHRISTMAS CAROL (FEZZIWIG TEA & CAST AUTOGRAPHS NIGHT)

Celebrate the season with what’s become a favorite family holiday tradition.  Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and 3 lively ghosts take you on a snowy journey.  Following tonight’s show, stay and mingle with the cast of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  Pictures and autographs are encouraged!

 

 

 

 

SATURDAY, Dec. 16th

 

18th ANNUAL BLEED BLUE BLOOD DRIVE & HOLIDAY FEST

8am|Lucas Oil Stadium

The largest single day blood drive in Indiana!  Blood drive participants will receive a limited edition Colts football featuring Frank Gore.  Make an appointment to donate HERE!   You can also tour the field and the Colts locker room.  Holiday movies will be shown on the big screens and plenty of chances to win prizes!

 

OPEN TRYOUTS FOR INDY SAINTS FOOTBALL CLUB

11am|Sports Zone Indy

Indy Saints is a member of the Women’s Premier Soccer League and they will compete in the inaugural 2018 season.  Tryouts will be from 11 to 1pm and will take place at Memorial Field at Park Tudor H.S.

 

 

“A CHRISTMAS STORY” DAY

Noon|The Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center

Come and celebrate the iconic film “A CHRISTMAS STORY”, set in Hammond Indiana.  All afternoon, the History Center will offer themed trivia, Chinese take-out crafts, and plenty of photo opportunities!  FREE with admission to the “Indiana Experience” and “Festival of Trees”.

Get your tickets today for a fun afternoon of local college basketball!  Purdue takes on Butler at noon, followed by IU versus Notre Dame at 2:30pm.

 

 

32nd IPL YULETIDE CELEBRATION

2 & 8pm|Hilbert Circle Theatre

The ISO, with Jack Everly and Sandi Patty are back for what has become a family holiday tradition. Some of Broadway’s best singers and dancers, from all over the country are here once again.  Through December 23rd.   

 

INDIANAPOLIS SYMPHONIC CHOIR LIVE!

3 & 8pm|Carmel Palladium – The Center for Performing Arts

The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir presents “Festival of Carols’ with the Indianapolis Chamber orchestra.  The Midwest’s beloved holiday tradition features your favorite carols and holiday music performed by the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir.  SUNDAY’s performance is at 3pm.

 

 

4th ANNUAL HOLIDAY JUBILEE

5:30pm|Building Bridges Early Learning Center

Multiple light displays, a candy land village…pictures with Santa and horse drawn carriage rides.  FREE Admission.  Goes until 8pm.

 

 

‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE…”, Presented by Candlelight Theatre

6pm – 8pm|Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

Everyone loves this special candlelight presentation of one of our favorite Christmas classics!  Complimentary snacks and hot cider.   You’ll move from room to room to enjoy the performances throughout the home.  Lasts about 1 hour, and tours leave every 30 minutes.   Check the website for SUNDAY’s available times.

 

 

 

 

SUNDAY, Dec. 17th

 

CONDUCTOR CODY’S CHRISTMAS EXPRESS

2 & 4pm|Indy Eleven Theater

If your family loves magic…then this is for you!  Conductor Cody will take you on a train trip to the North Pole, and with each stop…he’ll share some railroad themed magic!   $15 for adults - $12 for ages 12 and under.

 

 

STRAIGHT NO CHASER – “THE SPEAKEASY TOUR”

7:30pm|Old National Centre

Of their 4 shows here in Indy, this is the ONLY show NOT sold out!  Just a few tickets left.  The male a cappella ensemble began in 1996 at IU and have become extremely popular among all ages.
