CONSERVATORY CROSSING HOLIDAY SHOW

10am|Garfield Park

The Conservatory is all decked out in holiday colors with beautiful exhibits and operating model trains and villages!   Gorgeous Poinsettias and thousands of twinkling lights.  Goes through Dec. 31st.  Free with paid admission.

 

 

JOLLY DAYS WINTER WONDERLAND

10am|The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Young and old alike, LOVE “Jolly Days Winter Wonderland” because you can ice skate in your socks, visit with Santa, see Jingles the Holly Bear, have a snowball fight, and take your turn on the two story Yule Slide!  Goes through Jan 7th.

 

 

CARMEL “CHRISTKINDLMARKT”

1pm|The Center For Performing Arts

Brand new and open through Dec. 24th!  Bringing the Old World Christmas charm of Germany to Carmel.  German food and gifts, an outdoor skating rink, holiday music, plus Santa and his live reindeer. 

 

INDIANAPOLIS BALLET “THE NUTCRACKER”

2pm & 7:30pm|Old National Centre

Featuring nearly 90 cast members and will include members of the new Indianapolis Ballet professional company performing many of the ballet’s classic roles.  Support Central Indiana’s most talented young dancers in a timeless holiday classic.  One show on Saturday at 3pm.  Tickets start at $20.

 

 

GIFT WRAPPING FOR RILEY

3pm|Carmel High School

The Carmel High School Student Government students are wrapping presents to save you time and money!  Bring your gift in a box to Door 7 (Southwest Side of the School) and all donations will go to Riley Hospital for Children.

 

 

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

7pm|Civic Theater in Carmel

Opening night of the musical about Joseph, his father Jacob…his eleven brothers and a coat of many colors!   You’ll love it!  Goes through January 6th.

 

 

JINGLE ROCK AT THE TOP!

8pm|Skyline club

One of the most impressive views of downtown Indy and this time of year…it’s spectacular!  Doors open at 8pm for food, fun, and The Why Store.   $10 per person includes a “Tater Tot Bar”!  Cash bar is available too. 

 

 

 

SATURDAY, Dec. 23rd

6th ANNUAL “FESTIVAL OF TREES”

10am|Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center

80 gorgeous holiday themed trees, and a 30 foot “show-stopper” in Eli Lilly Hall!  This year they have more special programs, as well as your old favorites.   Bring the kids to the Sugarplum Breakfast and meet characters from “The Nutcracker”.  Goes thru January 6th. 

 

FEDERAL HILL COMMONS ICE PLAZA

11am|Federal Hill Commons Park in Noblesville

All ages can skate at the new ice rink at Federal Hill Commons.  Rental ice skates are available!   Check HERE for hours and special events.

 

 

“STOCKING STUFFER SOIREE”

11am|The Silver Centre

Last minute Christmas gifts!  Food vendors will be there to feed you including, homemade chili, plus a “Build Your Own Bloody Mary” bar!  Santa will be on sight and holiday movies playing on the big screen.  Free admission!  Goes until 4pm.

 

 

32nd IPL YULETIDE CELEBRATION

2 & 8pm|Hilbert Circle Theatre

The ISO, with Jack Everly and Sandi Patty are back for what has become a family holiday tradition. Some of Broadway’s best singers and dancers, from all over the country are here once again.  Through December 23rd.   

 

“CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE AGES”

4pm & 7pm|Indy Fringe Theatre

Julie Lyn Barber wrote this very entertaining history of the holiday season, with all of its music and traditions.  A wonderful show for the whole family!  $15 for all ages.

 

 

 

SUNDAY, Dec. 24th

 

FREE ADMISSION SUNDAY at THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM!

49th CHRISTMAS AT THE ZOO

5pm|The Indianapolis Zoo

New this year is “Enchanted Santa’s Village” under the Bicentennial Pavilion.  Beautiful lights fill his village where you can decorate cookies in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen…visit with Santa in his study and see his reindeer in the barn.  Click HERE to see special daily activities between 5-9pm. 

 

“LIGHTS AT THE BRICKYARD”

6pm|Indianapolis Motor Speedway
