True crime fans…this one’s for you!  A weekend filled with “Motives, Murder & Mystery”!  CrimeCon will transport you to the crime scene and into the courtroom.  Guests include Nancy Grace, and Dateline NBC’s Josh Mankiewicz, & legendary defense attorney, F. Lee Bailey.   Friday - Sunday, hours and activities vary each day, as well as ticket prices.

 

Italian Street Festival

5 PM|Holy Rosary Catholic Church

One of Indy’s favorite festivals, in a cool part of town!  Some of the best cannoli’s on the planet, and of course…the meatballs!!! Oh my! Live entertainment, amusement rides, beer & wine. FRI & SAT.  FREE admission and FREE parking!

Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience

10 AM|Ft. Harrison State Park

Saturday & Sunday experience more than 50 activities at the largest, hands on, outdoor recreation events of the year!  Demos, classes, exhibits.  Try snowmobiling, fishing, horseback riding and more.  Free admission both days.

 


Curiosity Fair

10 AM|Conner Prairie

Drones, video games, 3D printing, rhythmic gymnastics, hands on demos and more during this two day fair.  Colts, Indians, Pacers, Indy Fuel and Indy Eleven will all be there!  Saturday & Sunday.

 

 

Hamilton Town Center “Chalk Art Festival”

1 PM|Hamilton Town Center

This one is back by popular demand!  Local Artists will line the shopping center’s streets with chalk art masterpieces and compete for prizes in both amateur and professional categories. After you vote for your favorite, enjoy the live entertainment and bounce houses for the kids.

 

 

43rd Annual Eagle Creek Folk Festival

1 PM|Eagle Creek Park Marina

Saturday & Sunday filled with live music, workshops, an instrument “petting zoo” and more!   The Folk Festival is included with your admission to the park.

 

 

 

 

National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series – “The Jungle Book”

7 PM|Indianapolis Museum of Art Amphitheater

Watching a classic film under the stars…the best!  Bring your lawn chairs, and picnic basket (non-alcoholic beverages) and enjoy a great Disney classic! A variety of concessions will be open, including Sun King beer and King David Dogs will be available.  $12 for non-members.  Film starts at dusk.

Agave Movie Night at The Eiteljorg

Another cool place to watch a movie outdoors!   AGAVE is the Eiteljorg’s young professional Auxiliary group.  Tonight under “The Sails”, it’s the 1983 thriller, “Cujo”.  Enjoy a complimentary popcorn bar, beer sampling and a cash bar!   $15 at the door. $10 in advance.
