Wishard Hospital officials aren't the only ones celebrating Tuesday’s approval of the new building referendum.
IMPD officer Jason Fishburn and his family credit Wishard Hospital for saving his life. That's why Jason and his dad, Dennis, agreed to chair the grass roots awareness group citizens for Wishard.
Dennis Fishburn says the citizens of Indianapolis spoke loud and clear for the need to continue Wishard's care and services in the city.
Jason Fishburn's wife, Tonya, says it is wonderful the referendum passed, allowing the hospital to continue saving lives every day, just as they saved the life of her husband.
