Metro Police have arrested a man accused in several robberies.

IMPD Sgt. Paul Thompson says officers responded to an armed robbery shortly before 11:00 a.m. Wednesday to a Long John Silver's at 3230 Southeastern Avenue.

35-year-old Jeremy Tomlin is accused of riding to the restaurant on a bike, showing a knife and making off with some cash.

Police arrived and chased Tomlin for a short time before he jumped off and ran. He was found nearby hiding in a child's homemade fort.

Thompson says Tomlin had confessed to the Long John Silver's robbery and at least three others.
