Traffic finally got back to normal early Saturday afternoon on I-65 near Keystone Avenue after a six-vehicle pileup Friday night which critically injured a four-year-old Illinois girl.

State Police spokesman Anthony Emery said 72-year-old Charles Walker of Knox was driving an RV with a horse trailer attached southbound on I-65.

With Walker flooring what he thought was the brake, he pushed Erin McCormick's car into four other cars.

McCormick's daughter Gwendolyn remains in critical condition. Two-year-old Quintin McCormick has been upgraded to serious condition.

Their mother was initially reported to be badly hurt as well, but Wishard Hospital says she's been released.
