The Marion County Health Department has scheduled two H1N1 flu clinics for students in the Lawrence Township Schools, one of several school systems in the county that wanted the vaccinations outside of regular school hours.

The first vaccinations will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lawrence North High School Fieldhouse at 7802 Hague Road. This first clinic is for students from kindergarten through the 5th grade.

There'll be a second clinic at the same location December 5 for middle and high school students.

The Health Department asks that students be accompanied by a parent or guardian, eat a full meal before arriving, wear short sleeves and be prepared to wait in long lines.

A signed consent form is also required. These were passed out at the schools, but they'll also be available at the clinics.
