The FBI in Indiana has been executing search warrants on the headquarters of Fair Financial Services in Akron, Ohio and Obsidian Enterprises in Indianapolis.

Tom Gancarz, Asst. Special Agent in Charge for the Indianapolis division, shared the following information with WIBC News.

Listen:

The FBI says the affidavits supporting the warrants are sealed, and the FBI isn't able to answer any questions or provide specific details right now.

The FBI is asking anyone who has had dealings with Fair Financial Services or may have information or concerns to call the FBI’s toll-free number at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Obsidian Enterprises is located at 111 Monument Circle, in the Chase Tower in downtown Indianapolis. Its website says it is a private holding company that invests in small and mid cap companies in basic industries such as manufacturing and transportation.

47-year-old Timothy Durham is CEO of Obsidian Enterprises. The Indianapolis Business Journal says Durham, partners and related firms owe his Fair Finance company more the $168 million, according to records.
