Carmel Police have issued a report on an assault of a boys basketball player. The heavily redacted report indicates that the boys team stopped in Cloverdale on their way back from a game in Terre Haute on January 22nd.

The victim stated he woke up sometime around 11pm and walked to the back of the bus when he was grabbed by team members. He further stated "both assaults" lasted approximately 10 minutes.

The report was made on February 17th, which is a day after school officials say they were made aware of the assault by the department of child services after they received a report of the boy's injuries from hospital personnel. The report lists possible charges as battery, criminal confinement and criminal deviate conduct.
