Grand Jury Recommends Charges in Carmel Hazing Case

A Hamilton County grand jury has now recommended charges in the Carmel High School sexual hazing case.

Our partners at FOX 59 have learned the charges may all be misdemeanors.

The announcement could come as early as Friday or Monday.

Parents are telling FOX 59 they wonder about the timing of the charges, with graduation coming on May 31. They fear the four seniors may not be able to graduate with their classmates.

The grand jury investigation stems from an incident aboard a Carmel boys basketball team bus and another incident in a locker room at Carmel High School.
