IMPD Officer Faces 7 Counts After Fatal Crash

David Bisard (IMPD photo)IMPD officer David Bisard faces seven counts in a drunk driving crash that killed one person and critically injured two others.

Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi says the most serious charge is a B Felony OWI of .15 or higher causing death.

Bisard faces 20 years on that charge.

Brizzi says his office didn't know of the positive blood alcohol test until Monday. He says the investigation will include interviewing the officers who responded to the crash.

Bisard is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
