World's Largest Drive-Thru Breakfast Returns to State Fair
The State Department of Agriculture will once again host the World's Largest Drive-Thru Breakfast at the Indiana State Fair for the 15th straight year.
Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. Friday.
The $3 meal consists of a beef, egg and cheese burrito with coffee, juice, or milk, a gallon of e10 ethanol-blended fuel, and a fair ticket for later use.
State Agriculture director Joe Kelsay says the event highlights the Indiana Beef Council, State Poultry Association, Milk Promotion Services, and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council.
Although it's the Year of Pigs at the Indiana State Fair, the breakfast consists of no pork products. But, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels will represent Indiana pork producers by riding his "hog" to breakfast, driving through on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
