Hoosiers Mark POW/MIA Recognition Day
A ceremony, in downtown Indianapolis Friday honor servicemen and women who never made it home.
National POW/MIA Recognition Day is the third Friday in September. Veterans attending the ceremony at the Indiana War Memorial say it is an important day to remember the men and women who are still missing.
Federal facilities are required to fly the POW/MIA flag on this day of remembrance.
Over 80,000 American are still unaccounted for.
