Mayor: City Can Handle Weather at 2012 Super Bowl

A year from now, Indianapolis will be in front of a global audience as host of the 2012 Super Bowl.

Appearing on Indy’s Morning News on 93 WIBC Thursday, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard says the city has contingency plans in place should the weather be anything close to what it has been this week.

Listen to the interview:

Ballard says, luckily, most Super Bowl-related events will be downtown.

Ballard and members of the Super Bowl Host Committee are in Dallas this week to observe how that area is handling hosting duties.  Dallas has been hit with a winter blast itself.
