Search Expands for Missing IU Student

The search is expanding this week for an Indiana University student who went missing Friday.

At least three searches are planned for Monday for 20-year-old Lauren Spierer, who was last seen walking barefoot at 11th and College in Bloomington early Friday.
Spierer's parents arrived from New York to lead the search effort. Areas checked include Brown County Park and the Hoosier National Forest.
"It’s massive. It’s like a needle in a haystack. You would need the National Guard for that," Charlene Spierer tells Fox 59.
