Lauren Spierer's Parents Reach Out to Public Again

The parents of missing IU student Lauren Spierer are reaching out to the public once again urging someone to come forward with information about their daughter.

Charlene Spierer posted a letter online saying she and her husband have no plans to give up the search for Lauren. The Indiana University sophomore went missing June 3rd.

Charlene directly addresses the writer of an anonymous letter who criticized the the family for canvassing the Bloomington area with posters, begging for information on Lauren's whereabouts. She also challenges those responsible for Lauren's disappearance saying they have the ability to end this 5-month nightmare.

Charlene Spierer says while it took cowardice to take Lauren away on June 3rd, she is offering a coward's alternative to providing truth though an anonymous post office box where inforamtion about Lauren can be delivered.

Bloomington Police say the case remains under investigation, but have no new leads at this time. Officials are hoping the change of the season and Indiana hunters out in woodland areas will provide new answers.
