Indiana Companies Announce Expansion Plans

Two Indiana companies joined Governor Mitch Daniels to make expansion plans and job growth announcements.

Stratosphere Quality and Archway Technology Partners will invest a combined $4.3 million to expand their headquarters in central Indiana. Stratosphere COO Tom Gray says their plans include a $2.6 million expansion of their Fishers headquarters to hire 225 positions across the state.
Archway CEO Jason Brown says they plan to invest $1.7 million in their Indianapolis headquarters and to create 140 new jobs.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Stratosphere up to $1.5 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants. Archway was offered up to $2.4 million in conditional tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants.
Governor Mitch Daniels says the state has received 219 jobs transactions to date this year, which is a record for transactions. He says the state is close to a record for new jobs, at just under 20,000.
