Governor Daniels will announce his choice for the next Secretary of State Friday morning.

The announcement follows the Indiana Supreme Court's decision that the governor should make the appointment.

Daniels recently appointed Jerry Bonnet as interim Secretary of State after Charlie White was kicked out of office for voter fraud.

The question of who should succeed White went to court after Democrats argued their candidate, Vop Osili, should get the office.

The governor will make his announcement at 11:30 a.m.
