Metro Police gang investigators are now probing this weekend's shooting involving a group of teens along the Downtown Canal.

However, IMPD Spokesperson Linda Jackson says that doesn't mean the shooting actually involved gangs. Jackson say they're seeking a person of interest following the shooting. Jackson says they believe about seven juveniles may have been involved in the incident Saturday night.

Five teens were shot during what police say was an argument. All are being treated. Meantime, Mayor Ballard Spokesman Marc Lotter says the city believes the shooting was an isolated incident. Lotter says the city is engaging its community partners to seek out teens who may need help as a result of the incident.
