State Fair Stage Collapse Reports Due

The Indiana State Fair Commission is expected to release findings Thursday of two reports into the state fair stage collapse tragedy last summer.

Seven people were killed and dozens of others injured when overhead rigging gave way during a storm and plunged to the ground. It happened just moments before Sugarland was supposed to take the stage during a concert August 13th. The state hired two firms to probe the entire incident including equipment, venue, procedures and personnel.

After several months, officials from Thornton Tomasetti and Witt Associates are expected to give final reports Thursday. State Fair Spokespeople say they remain uncertain about the reports.
