An ambulance on an emergency run crashed into a southwest side church Thursday morning, injuring three people, including two firefighters.
It happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. at West Mooresville Road and Foltz Street.
Investigators said Heather Temple, 36, did not hear the sirens or see the emergency lights and crashed into the ambulance.
The crash sent the ambulance airborne for about 30 feet, then it crashed to a stop into a garage at the First General Baptist Church.
Decatur Township Fire Chief Dale Henson said firefighters Mike Davis, 37, and 31 year-old Brad Davis were in the ambulance. Both men and Temple were transported to Methodist Hospital in good condition.
Mike Davis was driving the ambulance.
Both men have been on the fire department since 2005.
A dollar estimate on damage at the church is not available.
No one was inside the church.
