Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson updates the status of the murder cases against William Clyde Gibson.
Henderson says Gibson faces two counts of murder in the deaths of Christine Whitis and Karen Hodella. While the body of Stephanie Kirk was found buried in his back yard last Friday night, they have not received a cause of death from the medical examiner. He says once that is received, he'll decide if additional charges will be filed.
When asked if there could be more bodies, Henderson says they continue follow through on all leads and leave no stone unturned. Henderson says they are working with other police agencies in the region, to check on missing persons reports. He adds, if convicted, Gibson could face Life Without Parole, or even the death penalty, if that is how he is charged.
