Gas Prices Taking a Dip Once Again

6/22/2012

Gas prices have taken a dramatic fall in the last week.

Listen:

Just one week ago, gas prices in Indianapolis averaged $3.72 per gallon and now gas prices across the Indy area are nearly 30 cents lower. Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst at Gas Buddy dot com, says whoelsale gasoline prices are continuing to trend downward. In fact, DeHaan says we've seen the lowest wholesale gas prices this week than we have all year.

DeHaan says it's possible that we could see gas prices below three dollars during the autumn and winter months. He says the odds are good that we could be below three dollars in November or December. DeHaan says he's cautiously optimistic about that but adds a lot can change, especially on the global stage, before then which could change the future of gas prices in Indiana.
