IUPUI is giving people who are interested in or considering applying to graduate school a free opportunity to learn about the process.

Graduate School Boot Camp will be held on the campus July 16th from 8:30am to 2pm. Spokeswoman Jennifer Mahoney says the application process can be intimidating for some faced with recommendation letters, personal statements, funding, and entrance exams. The boot camp is designed to answer those questions and help prospective students get help in preparing for those things.

Pre-registration is required along with rough drafts or outlines of personal statements. Students will then get feedback and instruction of improving that statement the day of the camp. The camp is free and attendees can be interested in applying to schools other than IUPUI.
